Introduction

This week, the school conducted the periodic examinations. As a result, the regular academic schedule was followed, and students attended the examinations with discipline and sincerity. Along with the examination duties, I continued my teaching practice and actively participated in the school's daily activities. The week provided me with valuable opportunities to improve my teaching skills and gain practical experience in the school environment.

Classroom Experience

My classroom experience this week was very good. I started teaching a new chapter titled "Earth and the Sun." The topic was interesting, and the students showed great curiosity and enthusiasm during the class. I used suitable teaching aids and interactive activities to help students understand the concepts easily. Their active participation and responses made the teaching-learning process enjoyable and effective.



Higher school Assembly

The Higher Secondary section conducted its regular morning assembly in a well-organised manner. The programme included prayer, pledge, thought for the day, news reading, and other informative items. The assembly was conducted systematically and created a positive atmosphere at the beginning of the school day. It also encouraged students to develop confidence and communication skills.



International Moon Day Celebration

The school celebrated International Moon Day with great enthusiasm. A poster-making competition was organised, and many students participated actively by preparing attractive posters related to the Moon and space exploration. Some students also created models of lunar rockets, which reflected their creativity and scientific interest. Students dressed up as famous Moon explorers and space scientists, shared information about their contributions, and presented speeches, songs, and other programmes highlighting the importance of International Moon Day. The celebration created awareness about space science and inspired students to learn more about scientific achievements.



Quiz Competition

As part of the Sasthra Mela, a Social Science content quiz competition was organised in the school. We actively participated in organising and conducting the programme. The students participated enthusiastically and displayed their knowledge with confidence. It was a wonderful learning experience, and I gained practical experience in organising and managing academic competitions.



Mid-Day Meal Service

We actively participated in the Mid-Day Meal Service throughout the week. Along with the teachers, we helped serve food to the students and ensured that the programme was carried out smoothly. This experience strengthened our sense of responsibility, teamwork, and care for the students. It also provided an opportunity to interact with them outside the classroom.





Reflection

This week was a meaningful and productive experience in my teaching practice. I improved my confidence in classroom teaching and learned more about effective classroom management and time management. Teaching the new chapter about"Earth and the Sun" helped me understand how to make lessons more engaging through interactive methods. Participating in the International Moon Day celebration, quiz competition, and Mid-Day Meal Service also enhanced my organisational and communication skills. Overall, this week contributed significantly to my professional growth as a future teacher.
